We love hearing from our customers and all of the exciting and beautiful projects they make. That's why when we received this backpack from Wendy in Naperville, Illinois we had to share it.
Wendy sent us an email saying "I'd like to share how I used this set. It stitched out great. This backpack is for my 2 year old granddaughter who loves story time at the library and then to check out books. Now she has her own backpack to carry them."
The designs on this backpack come from the Children's Library Sentiments set. Childrens Library Sentiments are perfect for make library bags for the children and are a great way to make going back to school fun! This collection comes in two sizes for the 4x4 and 5x7 hoop.
"I used McCall's pattern M6176 which I think is discontinued, but I found it on Amazon. The inspiration came from an email from DIME (Designs in Machine Embroidery) and I believe they were including it in a book. It also had been in their March/April 2014 magazine issue #85. I do receive the magazine so I was able to download a past issue. They basically used the original McCalls pattern but just altered the front pocket to an angle to accommodate their embroidery and used webbing for the straps instead of fabric.
Love your designs - you were the first applique designs I ever purchased when I got my machine. Have made countless bib and burb cloths with them. Thanks for all you do!" said Wendy.
You may need to do a bit of searching around to find the design however you may be able to get it from this Etsy site.
So if you have any unique projects or just something that is special to you or your family then please let us know and we'd love to share it with everyone.
